He required a system that would deliver back-up power to allow him to continue to work in the event of a network disruption. Peter had also installed a large, heated swimming pool and spa. He needed enough energy to power these in a cost-effective way.

“Installing solar was the right thing to do, not only for environmental reasons, but also for financial reasons. My capital investment in the panels and battery is paying off, with lower electricity bills, including revenue from exporting power to the grid,” says Peter.
