We’re lucky enough in Christchurch to have our own pocket of Scandinavian design ethos on our doorstep. The BoConcept showroom on Papanui Road has an extensive array of designer furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories to inspire, plus ample parking at the back of the store.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The BoConcept team of interior designers have years of experience in taking customers through the design process and advising on the best furniture to suit their space and lifestyle. At the helm is Showroom Manager, Maika Grant.
“In the South Island, we have the luxury of bigger homes, so we have more space to get creative and give clients the solutions they need. Plus we cater for clients downsizing or moving into townhouses,” says Maika.
“All our interior designers have different styles. Some are experts in blending old with new furniture, as they understand clients sometimes just need one new piece to refresh their home. Others are pros at working off floor plans and newly built homes.”
The team offers a comprehensive and complimentary interior design service and can also advise on the best use, care and maintenance of the products. “One of the things I like about BoConcept is that we deliver from Nelson all the way to Invercargill. We offer a personalised service to our clients, and we really care about our furniture – after all, it can last a lifetime.”
The collection at BoConcept is all completely customisable, whether it’s the colour, the finish, the upholstery, or the sizes. “We have over a hundred different fabric and leather options, all of which are sourced from Europe and commercially graded,” explains Maika. “We’re renowned for our modularity, functionality and uncompromising quality.”

NEW COLLECTION
The new collection out this season features beautiful items that are streamlined, clean and classically Danish in style. There’s a slight harking back to the 1970s, with extendable dining tables, curvaceous sofas and matching bar stools and dining chairs to give that cohesive look.
“We also have a new range of home office furniture, which is proving very popular right now,” says Maika.
The creative team with a passion for interiors is ready to welcome you to the showroom. With half the Board of Directors of BoConcept New Zealand born and raised in Christchurch, it’s a local feel to a global brand.
